Be able to delete own items

May be me.. But I am unable to delete any topics or posts I have created.. Not sure why its disabled if that's the case.

This is intentional. It's quite common in forums to avoid users removing lots of their own threads or posts when they leave the forum or feel like retracting something they said previously which damages the integrity of the thread.

 

For this reason, posts can only be edited for 15 minutes after posting and cannot be deleted. If you need something deleted, just hit "Report" and we'll take care of it for you :)

Perfect, cause I tend to write out stuff then hate myself after I post it.

Would a 'save as draft' option be possible or is that too complex for a forum?

That's unfortunately not a feature of the software we're using at the moment :(
