O.K., I've completed 3 courses at Code School:  Rails 4 Zoms 1, Rails 4 Zoms 2, & Fundmls of Design.  The one issue that I don't seem to find covered anywhere is: how to actually generate a graphic image to use on a site, how to generate code that will deploy text in a given area on the site, etc.  I don't remember seeing this covered anywhere in the Ruby tutorial.  Perhaps I need to take HTML?

Do you mean a graphic image as a picture/photo?

or HTML page elements like a paragraph/text/buttons/etc....

Yes, you need some HTML and CSS experience at least if you'll be making a website.

Yes, both.  Thanx, that's the answer.

If you need more one-on-one help, I'm building www.onscreenexpert.com. You can find experienced programmers there and get help by remote pairing and sharing code. Lots of our experts are free and want to help beginners get past their roadblocks.
