Hi

I have the prawn gem and the prawn-rails gems in my Gemfile:

# PDF generator for Ruby
gem 'prawn','~> 1.0.0.rc1'

# a Prawn based view engine for creating PDFs with rails.
gem 'prawn_rails'

I am using the following code to merge PDFs with Prawn:

https://gist.github....closson/4512859

It worked very nice until I tested it today again (I had been working on other features). With no code change on my side the merged PDF is a file with all blank pages. It stopped working :(. After doing some research online I found out that Prawn is not supporting templates since December 2013:

Does anyone know if there is a work around? or if there is any other tool or way to merge PDFs in Rails?

Thanks!

I could have the templates back and my merge PDFs feature working again by locking the gem version to 1.0.0.rc1 like this:

gem 'prawn','1.0.0.rc1'
