I'm curious to see how other people develop things on their computer... post up a screenshot of your screen mid development - we might all learn something from your fantastic ways of working:

Not the most fancy piece of code up at the moment, but at least you get to see how much dual screen rocks. The Textmate window is also usually a bit less large, I don't like working with maximized windows.

I used to have two screens when I was on a PC but since switching to the mac I've been happy with one 24" screen and my Windows machine nearby for various windowsy tasks

I work with dual screens at work in Ubuntu. Used to run Aptana but now am favouring NetBeans (which hasn't crashed once yet!). Usually I have the code on the LCD screen and then whatever I'm working on (web browser/console) on the left window.

I used to work with Visual Studio several months ago, but now as I finally switched to the OS X environment, I am using TextMate now.
I think I also have to mention FireFox and it's precious extension, FireBug as well. Web developers' best friend.

TextMate color theme is custom/self made.

Sure, originally it was started from the one which is being used in the Railscasts videos, I just modified (improved?) it to fit my taste.

My development Environment, just two.
Vim and JEdit. on a SUSE 10.1 machine with three monitors at home. (Three monitors = lots of vim shells). KNoda for my database viewing.
Vim is brilliant but I find JEdit more use when dealing with a lot of views
