Topic: A Mac-esque Rails Development Environment on Windows
This has been posted before I think (can't remember where I found it first), but I thought I'd show some love to my fellow Windows users.
The following is a very good tutorial for setting up a Rails development environment on Windows that has a lot of the cool features that Mac users love so much. *suppressing jealousy*
Some of the things it includes are:
A nice looking Textmate-ish tool simply called e
-column selection
-snippets
-supports TextMate bundles (reason enough for me)
-close integration with cygwin
-free beta (cost $35 
)
A command prompt replacement with tabs, transparency, and more called Console
