Iif you're onWindows you have just to plug it and you have a pop up window to choose how you want to use it (as 'principal', as '2 screens' )

If your LCD screen has an input that matches what your laptop has for an output then all you need is a a suitable cable.


Without knowing what laptop and what screen it is not possible to be more specific.


I would avoid S-Video and RCA composite video at all costs. They are low resolution and poor signal quality. I would use a USB to VGA or DVI adapter way before I spent a cent on a VGA to S-Video adapter.

I agree with seoservicedelhi.. Be more specific. Mention your laptop and LCD model.
But if you know that your LCD has a panel for connecting laptop, then just connect the cable and choose the appropriate system which you want to use.

using the Pin witch is connected to your cpu that is VGA pin ,use the pin to connect in your laptop most lap have the option for connecting the lcd
