Topic: Working with Flash scale parameter

I want to set a standard size for all flash videos displayed on my page but the videos come in different dimensions. I tried using the flash scale parameter forcing the video to play in the standard size dimensions I set but some videos simply won't do it, does anyone know why?

How did you set the scale?
eg. actionscript, authoring, html

I used HTML to set the scale values for param element within the object element and also the scale attribute with the embed element. However, I found out that I can scale using the width and height to proportions and it works fine.

You should take the help of any professional graphic designer or a video maker who knows the graphic designing skills also.
