Topic: Can't create production database

I am running Linux w/Apache2 and Passenger.
I deployed with Capistrano from a Git repository and all looks good until I try to create the database.
This is running the latest version of Spree 0.10.1 and there is a blank DB that the production section of database.yml is directed at with a user with full privileges the password to match.

The line 13 of environment.rb points to spree and the gems it needs. This may be the problem, it said I needed some and to run rake gems:install early on when I did that I made it past that issue. I'm thinking maybe there's something missing from the gem list on my install but it should still create the DB right?

any help is appreciated and here's what I ran:

rake RAILS_ENV=production db:schema:load

OK, since none has an idea, how about general rake troubleshooting.

How can I find out where it's failing?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated, really any.

OK here's my database.yml:

The first line says sqlite3 which is no the DB I want to use, I'm trying to use MYSQL but I used sqlite3 on my production machine.
I have been calling rake RAILS_ENV=production db:schema:load so it shouldn't be using sqlite3 right?

This could be my problem I think... Any thoughts?

I installed the sqlite3 gem anyways and still no difference.

I'm able to connect to the database with mysql -u Username -p password
So I Know that's not the issue.

Fixed that one.

There was an extra space in my database.yml
