Finding App Folder

Seriously the questions you are asking are covered in the first chapter of most tutorials. Its as simple as creating a new rails app, starting the rails server and then going to localhost:3000 in your browser. I'm pretty new at rails myself but it seems you've taken the wrong approach to learning rails. Even if you just take a few moments and read the basic getting started tutorial on the official rails website you'll be up and running.
