Topic: Working with a modified Gem

Hi, I've modified a couple of files of the soap4r-1.5.8 gem locally in my Computer. I want to have those changes reflected in my app in Heroku but don't know how to do that. Is there a way to push those changes to Heroku?
Any help would be really appreciated!

Hi Robin, I finally was able to find the solution.Check this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8686 … 690170What

What you have to do is copy the gem to your local project with this line in your console:
gem unpack gemname --target vendor/gems

Then reference that in your gemfile:
gem gem name, version of gem, :path => vendor/gems/gem name-version of gem
