Topic: Cascaded drop down

I have two drop downs. I want the second drop down be populated based on the selection of the first drop down.
can any one suggest me a way please

I know railscasts has a great example of dynamic select menus that might be worth checking out. Basically you are using JS to show/hide based off the selection. Here is the link http://railscasts.com/episodes/88-dynamic-select-menus

Hi lscott3. I have watched the cast and tried to implement it. but I can't get it work. I am using rails 3.0.4.
the difficulty is how to use the javascript in rails 3. can u show me how it works in rails 3 clearly please?

Try using jquery with UJS.
