Topic: Execute Javascript from Partial

Hi all,

I had a hopefully quick question.  As of right now I have a simple app, that dynamically updates a side menu div and a content div via partials depending on which menu button is selected.  The problem is, the javascript contained in the partials fails to execute.  I was wondering if anyone out there knew a quick and easy work around to this.  Thanks.

When the partial is rendered make an Ajax call?  Use an RJS template?

If you do an alert("hello world"); in the partial, does that work?
