Topic: problems with spam

I just reported two threads that were spammy posts containing links for porn or pharma.

Is there any way you can get PunBB to flag posts that have two or more outbound links in them or something, or prevent people that just joined the forum from including outbound links in their posts?

We'll be moving to a Rails-based forum in the near(ish) future. We have a lot of ideas about how to stymie spammers and spam bots. For now, though, we're just trying to stay vigilant about it.  We don't really want to hack up PunBB too much since we'll be switching to new software and want to make the change as easy as possible for us.

Thanks for reporting spam posts, though. That really does help!
