Topic: Can't write the @ sign in the ruby console window

Like the subject says.

I'm a newbie and I'm learning the language right now..

When I try to write an @ sign in the ruby console window, it doesnt work. Couldnt copy it in either.
Does anyone know what the problem is...

Just wondering...are you using the standard American QWERTY keyboard layout?
