			<description><![CDATA[<p>This has been posted before I think (can&#039;t remember where I found it first), but I thought I&#039;d show some love to my fellow Windows users.</p><p>The following is a very good tutorial for setting up a Rails development environment on Windows that has a lot of the cool features that Mac users love so much. *suppressing jealousy*</p><p><a href="http://garbageburrito.com/blog/entry/391/a-macesque-rails-development-environment-on-windows">Tutorial</a></p><p>Some of the things it includes are:<br />A nice looking Textmate-ish tool simply called <strong><a href="http://www.e-texteditor.com">e</a></strong><br />-column selection<br />-snippets<br />-supports TextMate bundles (reason enough for me)<br />-close integration with cygwin<br />-free beta (cost $35 <img src="http://railsforum.com/img/smilies/sad.png" width="15" height="15" alt="sad" /> )</p><p>A command prompt replacement with tabs, transparency, and more called <strong><a href="http://sourceforge.net/projects/console/">Console</a></strong></p><p>Enjoy</p>]]></description>
