I'm working on a new project with refinerycms and I've just built an 'events' section. A site visitor can enter in some information and they get registered for an event. Only addition I need is the ability to accept a one time payment.

I'm fairly new to rails and have never built any kind of e-commerce solution. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of something that might fit my needs. This is a pro bono project so there's no budget and free solutions are better if possible.

Does paypal have an api or something I can use? Where would I find information like that.
