I propose a forum guideline that says a thread starter should add [solved] to the subject of the thread if it has been solved. I've seen this done on other forums and it's very useful for quickly identifying which threads have been solved - obviously - to save you time both when looking for a solution to a problem and when simply browsing to help people.
